Comments: This is the most popular Ironman event. It fills
with applicants there in person the day after the race when entries open.
It doesn't even open entries to online applicants. If you want to do this
in 2009, you need to go along in 2008 in person to watch and then get your
application in.

the beach between the laps. 3 Lap bike course on completely closed gently
undulating roads before a flat 3 lap run. Three quarters of the competitors are
from South Africa ensuring that the dominant language is English. Great
road side spectator support.
