Thank you to all those club members involved in the 2009 Tri-Anglia RNR Team. Seventeen runners plus support crew, time keeper, drivers etc. In total 30 members of the club made up the 2009 team.

Running wise everything went to our schedule and we finished in a club record time of 25:20:42 (h:m:s) which was 50 minutes faster than our previous best performance. Along the way Mark Clues and Baard Grindberg both got club stage records.

2009 was our fourth appearance at the RNR and our first in the Club Class which meant that of our seventeen runners at least five had to be ladies and at least six had to be masters.

Of the 55 clubs participating we finished 26th overall and 5th out of 16 in the Club Class. Considering as we were going up against running clubs in a running event with several of our faster runners representing other clubs this is a very pleasing result. There was only one other Triathlon Club in attendance and that was Serpentine from London, they finished 30th overall and 6th in the Club Class.
