Maintenance Training Day  Pre-course Requirements.

The Mobile Bike Shop

With the course fast approaching there area few points that need addressing to ensure the day runs as smoothly as possible.

1 - The bike you bring must be your ‘best’ bike. By this I mean your newest or best condition bike. The day is all about teaching you how to service and maintain your bike. Past courses have proven if you bring your ‘old’ bike or winter training bike then this causes issues on the day. It is impossible to teach you the correct procedures if the bike you bring with you is worn or needs major repair work. This will become clear on the day.

2 - The bike needs to be as clean as possible. As the day is fully hands on if you bring a filthy bike you will be swamped in grease and dirt and seriously slow the whole day down.

3 - Please do not feel tempted to bring your own tools or work stands. I bring everything you will need for the day and it is very easy for tools and equipment to become mixed up.

4 - The jobs we perform on the day require parts of your bike to be removed. As a result of this some parts may need replacing. These are an additional cost which will need to be paid on the day. The most common part that needs replacing are cables at a cost of £2 each so please don’t worry that on the day you will have high additional costs.

I look forward to meeting you on the day and please arrive promptly for the agreed starting time.

Kind regards
