Club Kit Update

Following on from the last update (9th October) I am pleased to announce that we are pretty much all set to place our first order for cycle wear on our cycle wear suppliers Kalaswear following the sizing session this coming Sunday the 28th October 2007.

Sizing Session

The sizing session will take place at the Outdoor Centre, Whitlingham Lake, Whitlingham Lane following the Club 10k race.  The race starts at 9.30am, we'll be ready to start the sizing at the end of the race.

Our suppliers will be in attendance with a complete range of their garment sizes to help us with placing our order.  Artwork of our design will be available to help you visualise the finished product.  Please note the sizing samples will not be in our club colours.

For hygiene reasons, please take a shower between racing and trying on the sizing garments, also, could you please wear a swimming costume under the samples.

Orders, along with a 50% deposit will be taken at the day with the remainder due upon delivery of the order.

First Order

We expect delivery of the first order of cycle gear before the end of 2007.  A subsequent order will be placed in Spring 2008 (or earlier if there is sufficient demand).

If you are unable to attend the sizing session and would like to be included in the first order please complete an order form and post it with remittance to either myself (Rob Lines), Clare Cole or Kerry Davis.

Further Items

An order for tri-suits will be placed with Louis Garneau late 2007 / early 2008, once the artwork has been finalised.  The trisuit order will take 2 months, with the aim that the kit arrives April 2008 at the latest.

Cycle accessories will be available on the spring 2008 cycle gear order - subject to demand - more to follow.

Aero-Helmets - we now have a price.  If 12 people want aero helmets we'll start on the artwork.

Running Vests - conversations have started with Start Fitness.  I'm awaiting an assessment of how closely they can match the design of our cycling gear in a running vest and how much it would be.
