Stage 11 - 2007 Round Norfolk Relay
Runner's CommentsI just wanted to say a very big thankyou to all involved with the Tri-Anglia team for the Round Norfolk Relay. Although I was last in my stage, (sorry everyone,) I really enjoyed the run. Special thanks to Kerry who was simply amazing getting this all together, and for riding her bike alongside me for a while. We sang 10 green bottles as we progressed between Harleston and Brockdish, Well Kerry sang it and I chipped in now and again! Thank you Stewart for riding with me for a while too and being so kind and encouraging, and thank you Mark for driving the minibus and Rob for spurring me on. Sincere apologies to Mark Clues for keeping you waiting at the start of Stage 12 for so long. Thanks everyone, it was brilliant. I am proud to be a member of such a fantastic club. Sue PotterCycle Support's CommentsStewart started cycle support. (Comments please Stewart) We need to change cyclists halfway through stage, never mind Sue running the cyclist is cold and tired (and has a sore bum – next year Stewart I will put a comfort saddle on my bike for you). It’s a slick change, bet a non-triathlete team could not have done it so quick. I think this stage was the most boring, bleakest of the lot, Sue and I did a lovely rendition of 10 green bottles though. I had to leave Sue about 3 miles out of change over to warn Mark and Melvin we were coming in – I am a real scared cat, biking midnight, in the middle of nowhere was not my idea of fun. Kerry Davis |
