Leanda Cave Visit

On Monday 30th July 2007, Leanda CAVE the current ITU Long Distance World Champion visited Norwich, on the invite of Tri-Anglia Triathlon Club.

Leanda gave a very good Q&A and talk to members of Tri-Anglia at Esporta Norfolk Racquets Club on Monday evening. 

The members who attended were given a good incite into the life of an Elite Triathlete, and those who are venturing out into the long distance races such as Ironman it was well worth a listen.

Leanda stated she has had a really nice time in Norfolk and she enjoyed staying with Penny Edwards. Much thanks goes to Penny for looking after Leanda in her home.

Leanda and Penny are both doing Hawaii in October, so good luck to both of them.

Hopefully Leanda will come back to Norfolk to speak again to club members, next time more members can attend and take inspiration from an athlete who has been there and done what we can only dream of.
